John Rendell to challenge Buttars

WEST JORDAN - John Rendell announces his candidacy to run for Utah Senate District 10, the seat currently held by Chris Buttars.

“I believe it is time to restore dignity to West Jordan,” said Rendell, referring to Sen. Buttars’ recent controversy regarding what many believed were racist comments made on the floor of the Senate.

Rendell is vice president of information systems for VISTA Staffing Solutions, Inc., a leading temporary physician staffing service. He is responsible for management, infrastructure, communications, and long term strategies in aligning technology with business goals. He is also Vice President of Development for PEHR Technologies, LLC.

He received a bachelors of science degree in information systems from the University of Utah and is a working on his Executive MBA at the University of Utah.

John is married to an elementary school teacher. They have two children. He has lived in district 10 for the past 19 years.
