Governor Jon Huntsman Jr.'s opinion on Utah's Referendum 1

"Whatever you think is right, whatever you can justify, is the right answer for you."

The governor also said he loved the public schools his own children attend and they would remain there.

The Govenor should send his kids to private schools, because we are better than everybody.

This governor is truly spineless. He doesn't seem to believe in anything. All he does is keep the Governors mansion occupied - even I could do that much. Let's try electing a leader next time.

Once again, ref 1 pro liars have put things out of context. Everything they've said so far has been proven to be a lie, why start telling the truth now? Huntsman supports ref 1. Obviously, public schools work for his kids so he doesn't feel he needs to move his kids. However, this is about the students for whom public schools don't work for. Ref 1 supporters make this whole thing out be that every student, half of them, or even a 100th of them will suddenly be pulled out of public school and put in private school. If this does happen, then a lot more changes need to be made to the public school system than allowing faulty teachers to continue teaching.

I have only added the statements made by Governor Huntsman that were cut out of the Parents for Choice ad. Huntsman has said that he wants Utahns to make up their own minds, and that he supports their voice, even if they disagree with him. He has been very clear about this.

It is said that the truth will set you free David, maybe you should try it someday.

BTW, Please know that my comment is meant for the second David who I guess is collecting a salary from PCE.

We posted the audio of the governor's remarks so anyone can judge his comments in context. He was straighforward and and reasonable. I appreciated his honesty and the fact that he didn't get sucked into into the bitter food fight that so much of the referendum discussion has become.

Seem like another case of plausible deniability.
