This is going be a great race between two very qualified candidates.

In the end Jenny Wilson lost because she couldn’t get beyond the political fluff and she really didn’t have any experience. Let’s face it every job she has ever had she got because of her father.

Buhler and Becker are both established in their reflected fields and self made men.

Jenny, go back to the county council and throw more of our hard earned tax dollars at REAL soccer.

for someone with no experience, who got every job she ever had "because of her father" and who you allude to being unestablished, wilson still managed to get almost 24 percent of the votes.

so anonymous...since you're such a hater, what else do you have to say?

Jenny would have been a great mayor .

One could say that Buhler has made a career of living off of his republican partisanship.

The good news is we still have a great council member and we will have a great mayor when Ralph wins on Election Day.

Congrats to Ralph!
Good luck in November and Salt Lake is going to have a great mayor in Ralph Becker.

That’s a really good question, it’s no secret that the Republican Party has lusted after a seat in the Aves for years, the Utah republican party has publicly stated this several times – I could see Eric Jergensen running – maybe a rematch between Janneke House and Eric Jergensen ; that would great political theatre and a very close race. I’m sure people are already thinking and lusting after Ralph’s seat in the house.

When Ralph wins the mayors race (and he will win), I can only hope that the party nominates someone effective and doesn’t make the same mistake they made when Ty McCartney stepped down in District 31 and Larry Wiley was appointed because of, “his years of service to the party”, which is a really losers statement, and Wiley has proven to be one of the most ineffective members of the legislature and the democratic party.
