The Voice of Reason: Rocky is on Rock Solid Ground

To quote the misguided supposed leader of the free world, "Bring it On". The latest dust up between Mayor Rocky and the 3rd Reich chief propagandist Hannity is almost as funny as the latest revelations of Newt "The Horndog" Gingrich's philandering all the while he was excoriating Clinton for his horndoggin'. To hear Hannity bellow mightily that he had no idea that Rocky was scheduled to be a guest on his TV show, Hannity and Pinata, is highly suspect. Now that his courage to debate the issues has been challenged he has gone into warp drive to deflect any inference that he would vacate the school yard because someone he couldn't bully entered it. Simply Hannity is a sawed off runt who wouldn't know the truth if it kicked him in that empty sack of his. He has proven time after time that he can't win an argument without bellowing his opponent down by his infantile tactics. I got a great laugh how he was throwing down a gauntlet of sorts boasting he would come to Salt Lake City "At my own expense" and take on Rocky. We all remember how he came to UVSC to cleanse Utah County from being infected by the appearance of Michael Moore at "My own expense". That free appearance only cost UVSC and his supporters $40,000. More than the speaking fee for Moore. This pampered pug even had the school charter a private plane to fly him from Salt Lake International to Provo. I suppose he, like most rabid dogs doesn't do well riding in cars!

While I don't agree with Rocky on everything he says or positions he takes, on the issue of the Bush Administration, Rocky is on rock solid ground. This is the most corrupt, dishonest, secretive, self-righteous bunch to ever occupy the White House. Bush is a dolt and Cheney is pure evil and the trickle down effect has offered up a cast of conscious less toadies that have diminished just a about everything good this country has stood for in the world. If you don't believe me just ask Colin Powell or any of the retired Generals who haven't gone to work as lobbyists for a defense contractor.

Oh so right, Tom. Did you happen to catch how KSL introduced their news story on this by saying that Hannity had challened Rocky Anderson to a debate? And this AFTER his producers had canceled Rocky's appearance on Hannity's show. Way to interpret the events, KSL.

And your post reminded me of an excellent documentary on the Moore and Hannity visits to UVSC, "This Divided State". http://www.thisdividedstate.com//

The video is a bit hard to find, but well worth watching.
