KVNU's For The People makes a pretty grandiose claim

Monday Wall Street Journal editorial says: “Utah's children may not excel in math or English, but their teachers are very good at instructing them in how to run a political campaign. As 2007 achievement test data show another disappointing year for the state's children, the teachers union is running a multi-million-dollar campaign to insulate itself from competition.”

When I read that vouchers were down 20 point in the polls, I thought to stop by and thank you, Rob, for the information you've provided on this site.

Me and my family have done what we can to spread the message of this flawed voucher referendum, and urge other families with children to vote against it (as a vote for it would be a vote against their own values) and the information on this site (and many others of course) has been invaluable.

I hope we have changed many minds, and I thank you for the forum you have provided.

To the Polls!!!!!!!

Thanks David, I really appreciate your thoughtfulness.

I must admit that I sometimes wonder if blogging is truly worth the time.

Our gravitas is justified only because Rob Miller will be on KVNU's For the People best election night coverage just after 8 PM when it's announced that vouchers have failed.

If Rob's on, I'll be listening!

And David is right - much thanks to Rob for doing such a great job getting the information out.

“Utah's children may not excel in math or English, but their teachers are very good at instructing them in how to run a political campaign."

That's hogwash and everybody knows it.

Check the test scores in Utah. See how our students do. I'm tired of Utah's schools being compared to East Coast schools and people who do not have the same values that we do in Utah.

Pay attention.

I'm sorry Rob, but I didn't get the "grandiose claim" comment at first. I just went to the link and read:

"Preview tomorrow’s ballot straight from the horse’s mouths!"

My first thought was that has got to be the first time that Paul Mero has ever been referred to as a "horse's mouth"!
