Photos from the "New" Utah Republican Party website...

“This year is going to be defined by Republicans and conservatives by what we oppose.”
-Karl Rove

Looks like the Utah Republican Party agrees with Karl based on the above photos they have flashing on the front page of their new website.

Wow! This is something to be proud of.

All that's missing are the white sheets and pointy hats, or maybe some brown shirts.

I suppose that's what uncivil politics is all about. ;-) How ironic that this popped (pooped??) up on the Republicans' site on or about the same time as the civility discussion at the Sutherland Institute.

I think it unfortunate that the GOP would think it appropriate to highlight these pictures on their site when referring to a "peaceful protest". They did post other pictures of the 9/12 rally deep within the bowels of their blog that were not so Obama-centric in their vitriol or were not vitriolic at all. To me the Tea Parties and the 9/12 rally were more about protesting the bigness of government from both parties, but apparently some people thought it would be better to contaminate the protests with party-specific hatred. The Utah Republicans can do better than to sanction and encourage such counterproductivity.

I believe that this Republican might have been in the crowd as well.
