The Lawson's, who choose to show their "affection" for Obama with a sock monkey, were honored with a Worst Persons In The World award by Keith Olbermann tonight.
I think we can expect a lot of this type of thing. And as always, it will be defended with the pretense of "Whaaaaa? I had no idea this would offend anyone!" If these occurrences aren't outright racism, they are at best an intentional ignorance to obvious sensitivities.
Reading the message boards at KSL.com and desnews.com, you would think these Lawson folks have been seriously wronged. Are Utahns morons, or are the people who post at KSL.com and desnews.com not representative of our state's population?
