Megan Risbon Says: Who exactly is supposed to benefit from vouchers? It's sure not me or my family

I am a single mother. According to voucher proponents, vouchers are supposed to help families like mine. But after quite a bit of digging, I could’t find anything that shows how vouchers would help.

And I would welcome any of the pro-voucher people to sit down with me and do the numbers.

Megan is so disingenuous and doesn't even realize it.

ArtWorks is a great program but why is it free? It's free because the Sorenson family donated some money to a few select schools so they could hire some art specialists and integrate it into the schools.

Great program, sure but available to only a select few within SL County.

Second, if you think fees are outrageous in private schools just wait. Fees in public schools are just as onerous.

Megan must have been pretty impressed with herself when she wrote this but it reeks of SL City arrogance.

How did you pay for college Megan - scholarships, Pell grants? Vouchers work at the higher ed level for families of all incomes, why not see if they can work at the public ed level.
