Growth not flowing into wages

From Deseret News, Saturday 1 September.

Here's the question I asked Congressman Bishop last year: Who cares if we've had economic growth if the benefits only goes into the pockets of those who are already rich?

It's still a good question.

Those who are already rich.

It's a great question Steve, one the congressman isn't man enough to answer.

So the real question is how to resolve it in a way that's satisfactory to both liberals and conservatives. I'd like to think that in this tight labor market, employees would have more bargaining power than they do. (I have to admit, I'm no rich person but I'm doing better than I ever have in my life.)

those who deserve it and work reap the benefits

It just shows that Supply Side Economics (tax cuts to the wealthy) does not work.
