Rose Red Foundation leader to speak at Davis County Democrats Breakfast Meeting

We have a very interesting meeting coming up for this Saturday's Breakfast meeting.

Mr. Roy Brown who heads the Rose Red Foundation will be our guest speaker. The Rose Red Foundation was formed by a group of private citizens, many of them veterans who have taken on the responsibility of raising funds for the Veteran's hospital in Ogden. They are trying to do what our state legislators will not do. In light of the Walter Reed scandals at Washington D. C. where a Senator called it the "tip of the iceberg" one wonders why the Legislature is sitting on about $4.5 million of state funds which are earmarked for the hospital? Maybe Mr. Brown will be able to answer this question for us. At any rate it will be a very informative meeting so plan to attend. Here is the information you need for the place and time.

The Davis County Democrats will meet for their monthly breakfast, Saturday, March 10, at Granny Annie's Restaurant located at 286 north 400 west in Kaysville. Breakfast begins at 8:30 AM.

Don't forget to bring your nonperishable food donation for the Davis County Food Bank. People are hungry every day of the year.

All Democrats and the general public are invited.
