Building Bridges...

with cookies, good company, and Sami Boy

On Saturday February 25, 2007 Tyler Farrer and George Fisher sponsered a Davis County Bloggers Summit at Cutler's Cookies at 260 S. Main Street in Centerville, Utah.

Although George could not attend it was a great opportunity to discover that although we might differ in political philosophy, we are not so different and can enjoy each others company when we seek out our similarities.

I have wanted to meet Tyler Farrer since I discovered his blog last year, and as is the case in most situations he was not quite what I expected. When you read Tyler's post below please know that it was I who said, "you're a lot nicer in person".

Overall the summit was a great success and I hope that the tradition not only continues but grows. I highly recommend that you not only visit the posts below, but that you will take the time to visit the blogs and websites of all of our couregous Davis County bloggers. Tyler has a list of Davis County bloggers on his site and he is happy to include your blog if you are so inclined.

Thanks again to George for picking up the bill, to Tyler for bringing us together, to Sami Boy for being patient with his talkative father, and to all those who were there both in person and in spirit.

With every Best Wish, The Utah Amicus

Cute son Rob,

Too bad his father doesn't want him to have any choice in his education.

Too bad he is being raised by a socialist.
