Can it be true?It has been confirmed that Davis County Republican Chair Todd Weiler has made a campaign contribution to Davis County Democratic Chair and House District 19 candidate Richard Watson.
Does this mean that Chairman Weiler is endorsing Mr. Watson over Republican incumbent Sheryl Allen?
Anything is possible.

Plenty of us folks have given money over the years to candidates we didn't endorse.
Sometimes I even have a friend who's a Republican. I'll give 'em a check even if I don't want them to win because I like my friends.
But I hope it's true. Allen is a popular representative but Richard Watson would be much better.
This is not a big deal ; you write to the person, not the party.
For example, just because I wrote a check to David Duke when he ran for office in Louisana..does that make a member of the KKK?
No, but it does tell me that you are not very bright.
