House District 19 Candidate Richard Watson, has gone back to school.
Bountiful High School that is at the request of educator Joel Briscoe who is a teacher at Bountiful High.
Mr. Watson spent his morning and afternoon discussing local politics with Mr. Briscoe's US Government classes.
Issues discussed included Utopia, education funding, as well as many other State and National issues.
Mr. Watson also stated that any student who volunteered to work on his campaign would receive free pizza regardless of Party affiliation.
The class room was decorated with signs from many current and past elections, and the students truly seemed to be interested in local politics.
Rep. Sheryl Allen who is Mr. Watson's opponent has also been invited to speak to the class later this month.
Mr. Watson said that he was impressed by the student's questions and comments, and also stated that is was refreshing to see how in tune the students are to current local issues.
Enjoy the photos.

This is a great example of why big classes aren’t a big deal and are actually good for education.
Look at how the students interact – it’s great.
But more importantly, it creates an environment of competition among the students, which is healthy for when they enter the real world.
I wish I had big classes when I was in school.
30 kids in a class is fine.
It worked when I was in school and I went on the get a PhD and am now a tenured professor.
The whole class size thing is blown out of proportion.
It doesn't look like theres more than 22 kids in this class.
22..the class is hardly full...and UEA complains.
Talk about rhetoric!
This post has nothing to do with class size or the UEA.
Hey Anon, why don't you be brave and come out of the closet as the education terrorist that you are?
Next thing you'll say is that teachers are better off with the crappy salaries they receive because it creates a better enviroment for bigger classes.
