On my office wall I keep these two photos. One is of a beardless Abraham Lincoln, the other is of Confederate General Thomas Jonathan "Stonewall" Jackson.
These two men face each other on my office wall to always remind me that there are good, decent people on both sides of a situation, and to remind myself what can happen if we become too divided.
For me this is a important lesson from two men I admire, and hope to meet once I cross over into eternity.
