Help elect Democrats and GET PAID!


The focus of this position is to elect Democrats to public office. You will be employed by the Utah State Democratic Committee, and not by any specific candidate. This is a temporary position that begins on Monday, September 11, 2006 and ends November 10, 2006.

This position entails walking door-to-door, asking survey questions, delivering campaign literature and lawnsigns, registering people to vote, reminding people to vote, and may include other duties as assigned.

This position will pay $8.00 per hour with an additional stipend for those who can provide their own transportation and telephone. There are no benefits.

Full time and flexible part time positions are available. Full time hours are from 2:30 PM to 9:00 PM, five nights a week, and Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 9:oo PM . Part time positions include any of the above individual shifts. Saturday's can be broken into two shifts, 10 AM to 3:00 PM or 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Each shift includes a half-hour lunch/dinner period before 6 PM.

All campaign materials will be provided including water and a light snack. Attire should be comfortable, clean, and appropriate for approaching the public and for the current weather conditions.

There will be rewards for those who exhibit high productivity.

Rob, I can tell that you didn't write that little ad. Who did? It's bad in a way that defies all the laws of English.

I can't remember the last time I read anything that made me feel sorry for the author like that did.

Aside from that, this sounds like good news for you Democrats.

Just two more examples of statesmanship and decency from your Utah Republican Party.

I did cut and paste the ad, however, we are all working hard, and very late, and I should have taken the time to edit it.

It was my fault.
